Nutrient digestibility and nitrogen balance when sheep are fed molasses in a loose aggregate state.
Abstract
The effect of a complex supplement based on molasses on the digestibility of the main nutrients of the diet and the nitrogen balance in the body of sheep during the winter-stall period of their maintenance in comparison with liquid molasses is shown. It has been established that a complex additive based on molasses ensures long-term fermentation of simple carbohydrates in the rumen of sheep, which is the basis for the statement of increased microbial protein synthesis and increased animal productivity.
