Efficiency of the norms of triticale grain introduction in the diets of young pigs

Abstract

The articles presents the results of researches conducted in 2014-2015 on the proposed norms of introduction of triticale grain and extruded triticale grain in the pig diets in the amount of 40 % of the diet and their influence on the digestibility of the main nutrients during balance trials and productivity. Chemical composition and grain nutrition of triticale are taken into account as well as the toxic effects of anti-nutrients such as alkyl resorcinol and pentosan, which are part of this feed. It is established that the use of modern triticale varieties produced by the Institute of Feeds and Agriculture of Podillia of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences and the extruded triticale grain in the diets of young pigs weighing 20—40 kg provide high average daily gains at the level of 350—382 g and high digestibility coefficients of the main nutrients.
