Promising soybean varieties selected by IMC NAAS having high yields and resistant to pathogens
Abstract
The results of studies on the breeding, study and evaluation of the resistance of soybean lines and varieties selected by IMC NAAS are presented. The results of competitive variety trials prove efficiency of breeding for high yields, grain quality and resistance to dangerous pathogens. The most harmful of fungal diseases are ascochytaleaf spot (Ascochyta sojaecola Abramov) and white rot (Sclerotinia sclerotiorum). New soybean varieties Etude, Ranok, Hali exceed yields of standard varieties by 3.5-8.7 kg/ha, and at the same time they are characterized by high indicators of grain quality and resistance to pathogens.
