Abstract

A method of crude fiber determination in feeds with application of autoclaving that improves accuracy of measurements has been developed. A positive factor is the lack of contact of the laboratory staff working with harmful fumes of various acidic compounds and amines. Concentrations of acids and alkaline solutions are maximally close to original Henneberg and Stohmann’s method.
