Environmental competitiveness of perennial leguminous grasses with weeds in the year of sowing in non-cover cultivation

Abstract

The intensity of growth processes of different kinds of perennial leguminous grasses in the year of sowing in non-cover cultivation is investigated. Their competitive relationships with weeds are established. Necessary amount and terms of herbicide application in grasses depending on the intensity of weed emergence in grasses are identified. Indicators of feed grass infestation in first mowing depending on the intensity of growth, area of leaf surface, times of herbicide application and weather conditions are substantiated.
