Abstract

The results of field experiments on the effect of calcium fertilizers on yield and quality of clover seed on gray forest soils with pH 4.8-5.2 under conditions of the Forest-Steppe of Ukraine are stated. It is noted that optimization of the system of fertilization of clover seed sowing of Anitra variety, which included application of lime (Са(ОН)2 - 0.5 of the rate), mineral (N30P90K90) fertilizers and foliar nutrition by the macro- and micronutrients on the chelate basis, contributed to the increase of seed yield by 20-25%.
