Abstract

The dynamics of fertilizer application, agrochemical soil properties and their fertility, different chains of forage crop rotations saturated with perennial grasses and intercrops on the balance of humus in the soil, nitrogen cycle have been studied in conditions of the western Forest-Steppe of Ukraine. The dose of manure required to cover humus losses caused by its mineralization under cultivation in the chains of crop rotations of forage crops is calculated.
